The Beginning |
The game starts off with a disembodied voice giving you a lesson on how to play the game, controls, etc. After a coupleof minutes you'll encounter 3 pedestals each with a weapon on them. A Sword, a Shield and a Staff. You can take one and drop one. This will lower one stat and raise another, and it will decide how you learn abilities. See my Abilities section for more info. Anyways your starting stats are as follows depending on what you keep and give:

Personally I recommend keeping the Sword and dropping the Shield but it's all up to your preference. Anyway you'll get more instructions from the disembodied voice. Follow them until you come out onto a deck with Selphie, Tidus and Wakka on it. Talk to them and answer their questions. Depending on how you answer, the speed of your leveling up is determined. The speeds are: Fast, Medium and Slow. Meaning if you take fast it'll be less EXP between levels, Medium the normal amount and Slow a larger amount of EXP between levels. The answers for each go as follows:
Character: |
Slow: |
Medium: |
Fast: |
Selphie: |
My Prize Possessions. |
Friendship. |
Being number one. |
Tidus: |
Being indecisive. |
Being different. |
Getting old. |
Wakka: |
To be strong. |
To broaden my horizons. |
To see rare sights. |
With that done you'll appear at a save point with stairs ahead of you. Save if you like and head up the stairs. I suggest you save because there isn't any going back. Here you'll face your first boss monster.
Darkside: Hp: 240 Exp: 18 Strategy: This is your first boss encounter, and is thus very simple. When Darkside slams his fist into the ground ignore the Shadow Heartlesshe creates and lock onto his wrist and beat away at it. Once Darkside withdraws his hand remove the target and eliminate the Shadows to gain HP balls and some Experience points. Beware of the energy attack he rarely unleashes from the Heartless emblem on his chest, he rarely uses itbut it is dangerous. If you get the chance (I'm not recommending this) climb up one of his arms and attack his head, this will earn you tech pointsand will do more damage then it would if you attacked his arms. Let it be known that you don't have to defeat this Darkside to continue.
Once you've slagged the boss this section is over and the game truly begins.

The Destiny Isles
|
Items: Potion (unlimited), Hi-Potion x2, Log x2, Cloth, Rope, Coconut x2, Fish x3, Seagull Egg, Drinking Water, Mushroom x3, Pretty Stone
Acessories: Protect Chain
Ok lets get this game on the road. You'll be asked by your friend Kairi to gather some materials. The first log is down on the beach and the second is out on an island which you can reach by swimming or via a bridge. The rope is over on the far edge of the isle across on the deck (recognize it anyone). On your way back head up onto the upper walkway and jump go into the house to get the cloth. And if you wish, head back and give the stuff to Kairi.
If you like before you give the stuff to Kairi challenge Selphie, Tidus and Wakka to duels. Not all at once, you aren't ready for that by a long shot.
Wakka is annoying but easy to beat, he's a long range fighter to hit the Blitzballs he throws back at him and when he's readying for an attack run up and combo him then retreat. Keep this up and you should easily defeat him.
Next off face Selphie. She's in my honest opinion the coolest of the three and the second coolest character in all of FF. Selphie is quick on her feet, so keep moving and beware of her jump rope/nunchaku because it has good mid to short range attacks, but thankfully you can hit it back at her to stun her. Be quick on your feet and she should fall rather easily. Not as easily as Wakka but still pretty easily.
Tidus fights a lot like you do, using combos and quick foot work. Match him and strike when he leaves himself open to attack and you should be able to defeat him. He is the most dangerous of the three. You can fight them multiple times for EXP and all of them at once for EXP and a potion. I don't reccommend it until you are quite skilled and are at least at level 3 or 4.
And even more challenging then the three of them is Riku, your best friend. He fights in a similar fashion to Tidus but with more HP and a higher strength rating. Also when you knock him down he does a flip kick to get back up which hurts...a lot. Defeat him to get a potion. Anyway when you're done here talk to Kairi. She gives you a Hi-Potion in return. Call it a day and choose to go to bed.
When the next day starts head through the door on the side of the island opposite to the deck. You'll find Riku here. Talk to him and race him. You don't have to win but you might as well do so. To win just start running and pass him as quickly as possible, stay ahead and don't go up the tower, drop down to the shore beside the tower and run through the shallow water and up the ramp. Touch the big star and then turn and head back, if you are ahead here youshould easily win.
Anyway once the race is done talk to Kairi for another list of items to find. Now you get to collect food. Push the nearby boulder away to find your first mushroom, then attack one of the nearby palm trees until a yellow coconut falls down, and attack it again until you have 2. Finding the fish shouldn't be too hard. You'll be able to see them from and ok distance. Just swim out and get three of them. Now head to the tower and check in the bushes around it to find the second mushroom. Head to the waterfall in the previous area to get some drinking water then talk to Wakka to learn about the location of the last mushroom. Go to that area then get the mushroom in the back of the cave. Finally head to shack and then onto the ledge with the two trees on it. Climb the thin tree and jump across to the final ingredient the seagull egg.
Before heading back to Kairi, head over to the watchtower. You should be able to see a hole in the wall next to it with a chest inside. Get the nearby crate and bring it over and use it to climb into the hole. Open the chest and you'll get a Protect Chain. I suggest you equip it. Now head back to Kairi and unless you want to fight with the others, go to sleep.
With the day over you'll be attacked by Shadows in the middle of the night, which are immune to your current weapon. Make your way across the bridge to the island here you'll recieve your weapon of choice, the legendary Keyblade. With this you can hurt the Shadows. Level up a bit (I'd say about 7 or 9) then head to the "Secret Place" that Wakka told you about and you'll find a door there. Examine it to initiate a boss battle with Darkside.
Darkside: Hp:300 Exp: 60 Strategy: This battle is nearly identical to your last battle with Darkside, follow the same strategy and you'll do fine. Use the potions you beat aquirred from your duels against Tidus and Co. to heal yourself when need be.
Once the boss is gone this world is finished.

Wonder Land |
Items: Footprints, Stench, Antenna, Claw Marks, Potion x6, Hi-Potion x2, Mega Potion x2, Ether x2, Elixer, Tent, Camping Set x3, Mythril Shard x3, Defense Up, Thunder-G, Aero-G, Aeroga-G, Navi-G, Dalmatians 13-18 and 58-60
Accessories: Ifrit's Horn
You take the blue pill, the story ends...you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland and I'll show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Anyways go through the hallway and into the next room, this is the Bizarre Room. Anyway talk to the Doorknob and it'll tell about the Red and Blue Medecines on the table one will shrink you and the other will make your grow. Anyways push the nearby bed into the wall and then drink the medecine to shrink, now go through the hole revealed by the bed into the Queen's Court. You'll see a scene involving Alice and the Queen of Hearts, after which you will have to find evidence to prove Alice's innocence to the Queen.
After the scene head to the Lotus Forest, where you'll encounter the Cheshire Cat. After talking to him you can now explore the area, clear out the Heartless, then head to small out cropping to the right, within it is the first piece of evidence the Footprints. There is also a trinity mark here. From here jump up on the nearby 'shrooms and make your way to the door in the side of the tree. You'll fall down then land right next to a box, inside is the Stench, the second piece of evidence. Head back to the Lotus Forest and to the back of the area, here you'll find three shrooms. Two large and one small. Jump onto the small one and then jump onto the large mushroom on the right. From here you'll be able to see a box. Jump to it for the third piece of evidence, the Antenna.
Look to the corner of the room. See that blue chest? Jumping to the ledge is kinda hard. Try jumping at the last possible second while running off of the ledge. The chest contains a Thunder-G. Back at the bottom, jump on the small mushroom and jump left. Here is a chest containg your first set of Dalmations. Anyway head back to the entrance to the forest and talk to the yellow flower. Give it a potion to grow, grab the fruit from the tree and put it down. Strike the tree then eat the fruit.
Now head back to the three 'shrooms at the back and jump up onto them and follow the newly revealed platforms to door they lead to and go through it. You're in the Bizarre room again, jump across to the chest and grab the last piece of evidence the Claw Marks. The Cheshire Cat will appear and give you the Blizzard spell. After the Cat is gone head to the Queen's Court and save, then talk to the Cards in front of the Queen. Choose a box at random and hope a Heartless pops out, if Donald and Goofy do you'll lose them for the next battle, although you can break their cages with your Keyblade. Anyways a boss battle ensues.
Cards and Towers: Hp: Tower: --- Hearts: 60 Spades: 45 Exp: Tower: 100 Cards: 0 (Both suits) Strategy: The Queen will order her cards to attack you, and they are immortal. Either knock out the queen to knock out the cards or just have Donald and Goofy fend them off. While your team-mates are beating away at the cards you should focus your energy on the wheels on the sides of the tower. Once both are destroyed this battle is over. Now head to the Lotus Forest
Anyways head to the 'shrooms at the back of the forest and take the left one and make your way over to the door in the side of the wall surrounded in leaves. Light the two lamps in this area then exit through the picture that appears, before you do so knock the nearby Teddy Bear down to the area below. Head to the Bizarre room and grow, switch the chair the Teddy is on and then push the clock that is revealed. Shrink and then go through the door that pushing the clock revealed. Now you'll be in the Tea Garden. Sit at the chairs to get items or into battles. Go through the nearby door and light the candles. This will activate a boss battle in the normal Bizarre room. Head to it and you'll fight the boss.
TrickMaster: Hp: 600 Exp:150 Strategy: This boss is exceptionally annoying. Target it's head section and attack, don't use Fire magic because that'll light it's batons on fire which causes the damage to double. Beware though it may light it's batons on fire at the oven. Attack the TrickMaster's head section when you can, eventually it will start to sag like it's in pain, this is your oppurtunity to inflict damage and to Blizzard his flaming batons out. Repeat this proccess until you obliterate him.
When he's out of the way, you can seal the Keyhole. You also obtain a Navi-G. Thats it for Wonderland. Exit wonderland and head over to the area that has a battle level 2.

Deep Jungle |
Items: Hi-Potion, Mega-Potion x3, Mega-Ether, Protect G, Mythril Shard x3, Dalmatians 25-36, Ether x2, Slide 1-6, Esuna-G, Mythril x2, Protect-G, Fire-G, Aerora-G x2, Shell-G x2, Orichalcum, Navi-G Piece
Accessories: White Fang
Sora starts out on his own, and right away faces a boss.
Sabor: Hp: 90 Exp: 15 Strategy: I know what you're thinking "Awesome, Low HP!" well think again. Sora is alone and if you aren't careful Sabor can make mince-meat out of him. Sabor is very quick on his feet so keep dodging and rolling out of his way. Beat away at him when he isn't attacking and Sabor will fall very quickly.
After the boss you'll encounter Tarzan, now jump off the Tree House and search the net area for a Mega-Potion treasure then jump off the edge of the net. Hop into the hollow tree and tree-surf down to the Camp area. Enter the tent and Donald and Goofy will rejoin you. You'll meet Jane and she'll ask you to find some slides for her. They are in the Camp area so they are relatively easy to find. One is near the Chalkboard, another is on a stack of crates, one is on top of the tent, one is on top of the coverings, one is under the coverings and the last is on top of the nearby pile of suitcases. Take them back to the Tent and give them to Jane. Anyways after this scene Tarzan will take you to see his family of Gorillas.
Go over to the table. There's a trinity mark, so use it unveil more Dalmations. Head to the exit past the the table and you'll find yourself in the Hippo's Lagoon. Search the area for treasure then cross the water jumping from Hippo to Hippo. Climb the vine to the next area and then climb the crawling vines behind you to get to the next area. Kerchak, head of the Gorillas, will not help you. Jump down and head back to the vines near the entrance of the lagoon. Climb them, then the vines behind you and you'll be in the Climbing Trees area.
Head through the cave and to the Tree House, after a scene head back to the Camp save etc. then head to the Cliff area which is found by going out the second Camp exit.
Sabor: Hp: 90 Exp: 15 Strategy: This fight is simple. Now that your full team is in place and Tarzan is now available to assist you, Sabor stands no chance. The fight is the same as before, dodge and he'll be history very, very fast.
Get rid of the boss, then pillage the area for treasure, now head back to the Camp and enter the Tent. You'll see a scene then save and head out. Defeat all the enemies in a couple of areas to get treasure from the Gorillas, it'd be a good idea to level up right now. Head to the Climbing Trees and defeat all the Heartless in the area. Head to the Treehouse to save the final Gorilla then head back to the camp, talk to Jane, heal, save and then head to the Bamboo area. In the Bamboo area you'll face the recurring boss for the last time. Defeat him then return to the Camp.
Sabor Finale: Hp: 180 Exp: 150 Strategy: Sabor has learned a new trick, he can now hide in the walls of the bamboo area. Anyways just keep dodging and rolling and use a pincer type attack formation (attack from the opposite direction that your team is) and you'll have kill Sabor quickly.
Jane has fled the camp and is hiding in the Climbing Trees area. Go rescue her by beating up on that big flower pod, then return to the Camp and prepare for your boss battle with Clayton.
Clayton: Hp: 250 Exp: 240 Strategy: This battle is less then thirty seconds long if you're quick. Head straight for Clayton ignoring his Powerwild cronies. After a few combos Clayton will be done like dinner.
Head to the Cliff to initiate the final boss battle of the area.
Clayton & Stealth Sneak: Hp: Clayton: 250 Stealth Sneak: 750 Exp: Clayton: 240 Stealth Sneak: 30 Strategy: This fight can be quite difficult. By now you should have the Scan ability so I'm going to assume you have it, if you don't...train until you get it. Anyways target the invisible beast that Clayton is riding and have your team go all out on it. Heal the very second it is neccessary, and you should be careful as both Clayton and the Stealth Sneak have long range attacks. Beware the Sneak's lunge attacks, the Sneak will rear back before using them. After beating it for a bit the Sneak will become visible, keep on beating away at it and Clayton may or may not dismount when you have beaten the Sneak's orange-yellow meter down to green. Continue beating away at the Sneak even if Clayton does dismount, the Sneak is far more dangerous then Clayton. Once you defeat the Sneak Clayton will more then likely head up to the ledges, beat him down with a couple Fire spells or just wait and let him pick you off. Once you've got him in range of your attacks he will fall very quickly.
After the battle Kerchak will throw you onto a cliff. Make your way through the cave to find the Keyhole to this world. Seal it and you'll get the Red Trinity for your efforts as well as the Jungle King, a new Keyblade.
With that done, head over to the next battle level 2 area.

Olympus Coliseum |
Items: Mythril Shard, Mega-Potion, Entry Pass, Hero License, Dalmatians 22-24
Accessories: Inferno Band
You'll start out in front of the Coliseum. Use the trinity marks on your right and left under the statues. The one on the right drops a chest containing dalmations, the one on the left drops a chest that contains a mythril shard. Theres also a chest behind the left pillars that contains a Mega-Potion. Enter the double doors. Here you'll meet Hercules and Phil, they'll tell you about a tourney, but you won't be allowed to enter. You can take a couple of tests for the Thunder Spell but thats it. To win the tests unequip the Vortex ability (if you have it) and smash all the barrels within the time limit, on the second test one barrel will be out of your reach, cast fire on it until it breaks. After this leave the area and Hades will appear and give you a ticket so you can participate in the tourney. Stock up on items, save and then enter the Prelim tourney.
In the tournament you'll have 7 seeds (rounds). The first 6 are pretty easy, but the last one you'll run into a familiar fellow (Cloud) who happens to be a boss.
Cloud: Hp: 300 Exp: 80 Strategy: This is another battle similar to Leon. Altough he doesn't have to be beaten to continue, it would net you some EXP so here's the strategy. Cloud's Buster Sword has good range and power so try to avoid it at all costs. But what you should be concerned about the most is hisSonic Blade attack; it's long range and does high damage. Use potions when you need to and keep Sora protected with the Aero spell if you have it. Just dodge Cloud's attacks and attackwhen you have an opening and he should fall.
A nice scene occurs involving the three-headed dog-beast, Cerburus. You'll end up back in the lobby where I suggest you save. Head back into the Coliseum to beat up on the beast.
Cerberus: Hp: 600 Exp: 150 Strategy: This battle is painfully annoying. Lock onto one of Cerb's heads and have an all out full team attack on it. When he his heads back he is about to use his biting attack, get out of the way. When he rears all the way back he is about to pound the ground with his paws unleashing a shockwave, jump to avoid it. When black smoke starts to rise from his mouths get away from his mouths because he is about to spew black poison, this attack is doubly dangerous because it also locks onto Sora and causes black pools of energy to surge from the ground beneath him. Keep running to avoid this attack and pray that Cerb doesn't use his Fireball attack. Cerb's final attack is a long range fireball shot from his mouth at Sora, and only Sora. Safely avoid all of these and attack when you can and Cerberus should fall.
After taking care of him, Phil will give you the Hero License as you leave, then Cloud will give you the Sonic Blade ability. As the game progresses more cups will become available for you to win. When they do Chip and Dale will let you know. Refer to the Coliseum page.
Lets head on back to Traverse Town for now.
|
Traverse Town P.2 |
Items: Dalmatians 4-6, Dalmations 10-12, Firaga-G, Earthshine, Thundara-G, Old Book, Warp-G, Navi-G Piece, Comet-G
Return to Traverse Town and head over to the Alley you began at during your first visit. Use the Red Trinity Mark to enter an area with a chest. Open it and you'll get more dalmatians. Return to the First District and head to the Second District. Take out the Heartless enemies and then head through the door near the fountain. You are now in the Alleyway, at the far end of the Alley is a sewer gate with a Red Trinity mark near it. Use the Trinity to enter the Secret Waterway and you'll encounter Leon and co down here. Leon will give you the Earthshine Gem and a book, then tell you to go see Cid. Before you do that, check the stairs behind Leon and Aerith for more dalmatians.
Now go talk to Cid to find out he will help you in exchange for a favor. Take the book he gives you to the Third District, cast Fire on the door with the Flame emblem in it then cross the stones and enter the building to find Merlin's house. You'll see all of Merlin's belongings come out of his bag when he arrives. Now give him the book then talk to the Fairy Godmother in the same room to change the Earthshine you got from Leon into the Simba summon. Return to the Third District, go through a scene and then go to the Second District and into the house near the entrance. Not the door you came in thats the exit. Talk to Cid and he'll give you a Warp Gummi. After this head to the Gizmo shop then onto it's roof. Clear out the enemies then use the Red Trinity to gain access to the bell rope. Pull the bell three times to reveal the Traverse Town Keyhole. Head towards it to fight a boss.
Opposite Armor: Hp: Torso: 900 Hands: 135 Feet: 270 Exp: Torso: 390 Hands: 0 Feet: 0 Strategy: Fight this enemy the same way you fought the first Guard Armor, just it has almost ten times more HP and has a new Energy attack which..really hurts. I suggest locking onto the torso and pummelling it down to it's green meter or less, if you start to get into trouble heal your team and switch to finishing the feet and hands off. With the torso low on HP and the appendages gone this fight will end very quickly. Beware of the attacks of the appendages while attempting to destroy them, they are weak but very annoying. Once the appendages are gone the torso will start using it's energy attack. Dodge his blasts and get in close to beat away at the torso which will counter the blasts. Finish him off with extreme prejudice. For beating him, you obtain the Aero spell.
Afterwards you'll get the other half of what Cid needs to fix your Gummi ship (you get the first half and Deep Jungle in case I didn't mention it). Stock up on any items you need. Then its time to exit this world.
At this time when you head out onto the World Map you'll see a wormhole between the Coliseum and Deep Jungle, that is your goal. But before you can do anything you'll be informed of a tourney at the Coliseum. You can go if you want it's not manditory.
|
Agrabah |
Items: Mega-Potion X4, Mega-Ether X4, Dalmatians 37-39, Megalixir, Cottage X3, Shell-G X3, Elixir X2, Mythril Shard X3, Defense Up, Thunder-G, Mythril, Dispel-G, Torn Page, Dalmatians 52-54, Ansem's Report 1, Power Up
Accessories: Fira Ring, Ray of Light, Protera Chain, Thundara Ring, Protega Chain
Looks like Jafar anf Maleficent is after Princess Jasmine. Anyway, from where you enter head forward and take out the Heartless for EXP while you're at it. While you're here, you might as well collect all the treasure. If you want, head into the storage room to get munny and a Mega-Potion. There's also a save point here if you'd like to use. Head back out and go move on. You'll then come to an intersection. Head left and you'll encounter a scene with Jafar. After you dust the enemies that Jafar summons, hop up the boxes and unlock the nearby keyblade-hole. Hop across the shutters and through the newly unlocked gate. Now you'll be back on the Main Street. On the far end from the Alley you just encountered Jasmine in is a building with a pole leading into it or a path of concrete outcroppings leading into it. Go up the pole to enter Aladdin's house. Save and open the chests for a Megalixir and dalmations. Now free the Carpet then let it take you to where Aladdin is.
Head back to where you entered Agrabah, and accept Carpet's offer to give you a ride to where Al is. You'll arrive as Al is drowning in quicksand. Bandits will attack, so take them out. You'll then be asked if you'd like to switch party members. Go ahead if you want to. After saving Al, head back to town. The place has been severely reorganized with crates blocking once open routes. Anyways head up the crates near the wall and jump across to the right side of the area and then jump up onto the ledge above and through the door. Now you are back where you encountered Jasmine. Jump across the shutters and through the door to get back to Main Street. Head to Al's to save and heal then jump across to the nearby door which you should have unlocked by now. Go through it to face a boss.
Pot Centipede: Hp: 600 Exp: 250 Strategy: This boss is SO painfully annoying, sure it's easy on normal but on expert it can be a challenge. Anyways try to keep the various Pot spiders from combining into the full centipede, if a group of Pot spiderscome together between the head and the tail use Sonic Blade to destroy them. Both the head and the tail share the same HP so choose a target and beat away at it while staying away from it's tentacles which, when struck by,really hurt. Anyway keep your HPs up and the Centipede will fall. For beating him, you obtain a Ray of Light acessory.
Return to Aladdin's house to save and rest up. When you're ready head out to the desert.
You'll encounter another boss here.
Guardian of the Cave of Wonders: Hp: 380 Exp: 400 Strategy: This fight is somewhat perturbing. The cave has low HP so lock onto one of it's eyes and wait for it to slam it's head into the sand, before it does this it will usually spit out enemies so have your team contend with them. When it's head is slammed into the sand it will be...snorting sand...to fire a huge blast of sand, nearly unavoidable. Jump onto the nose and wait for the head to rise and start attacking the eye once it does rise.Repeat this until you either fall off or destroy the eye, if you fall off stay targeting on that eye, if you destroy it go to the next eye. When it is low on HP the Cave will rise up and stop moving, this is when you use Thundermagic to finish it off.
Defeat it and enter the Cave of Wonders. Make your way through the areas until you come to an area with a pit and some stairs. Jump onto a platform nearby then over to the stairs, go down the stairs, save and then explore the area. Make your way through this underground area until you find a room with a pillar in the center, attack the pillar to open the route to the next area.
Now head back to the upstairs area and make your way through the various rooms until you make it to a room of treasure. Save then head through the door, fight a boss.
Jafar: Hp: 500 Exp: 600 Strategy: Jafar is exceptionally dangerous his energy blast attack can put a huge cramp in your step and his Ice whirlwind is exceptionally dangerous. His energy attack fires from the eyes of his snake staff when he points it at you...run! When he starts to say some very strange words he is about to use his Ice whirlwind, get out of the center of the arena and off to the sides to avoid it. Keep the targeting on Jafar and when he lands...attack! You'll finish him quicklyif you're careful. Jafar's final move is to turn himself into energy to escape, target one of the balls and follow it until he reforms. I have yet to mention Jafar's assistant Genie because Genie is weak. When he attacks he not only does apathetic amount of damage but he also releases HP balls. Just avoid Genie and Jafar's attacks and this fight should be simple.
After that, your Blizzard spell will upgrade to Blizzara. After that, go and check on Jasmine and the keyhole. Hmm. Guess he didn't have enough, eh?
Genie-Jafar: Hp: 750 Exp: 730 Strategy: This battle if far easier then you would expect. Jafar will use one attack, he has more but I've never been close enough for him to use 'em, he'll grab large flaming balls of rock and toss them at you. Easily dodgable, just make surethat Donald and Goofy (Or Alladin) are nowhere near you. Anyway attacking Jafar himself is a waste, target Iago who is flying around with Jafar's lamp. While dodging Jafar's incessant flaming rocks keep attacking Iago. When Jafar is low on HPIago might just drop the lamp, it is crucial that you are there to finish Jafar off for good.
For beating him, you'll get your Fire magic upgraded to Fira, and Ansem's Report 1. Jasmine seems to be missing, and Sora seal the keyhole. You'll have to navigate the carpet out of the Cave of Wonders, but its not all that hard.
After all of that, you'll acquire the Three Wishes keychaing, Green Trinity, and you can now summon Genie. Head back to the Storage Room and exit to the Gummi Ship. Head back to Traverse Town for a moment and buy some new equipment. While you're at it, go ahead and enter the accessory shop and use the green trinity to gain access to the Moogle's Sythesis shop. For information on synthesizing, go to the Synthesis page. For now, lets go and see what that mystery area that has a battle level of 5 is next to Agrabah.
|
Monstro |
Items: Mega-Ether X2, Cottage X4, Dalmatians 55-57 and 73-81, Megalixir X2, Dispel-G X2, Torn Page, Tornado-G X2, Mythril X3, Mythril Shard, Potion X2, Watergleam
Head back to Agrabah junction and take either the path to the mystery area with a battle level of 5 (the one on the right). You'll encounter Monstro. Anyways as you make your way into Monstro's mouth you'll see a scene. Once thats over, make your way to Gepetto's ship while collecting treasure that you can reach. Pinocchio will disappear and it's your job to find him. Save then raid the area for treasures you might have missed. One important treasure would be the Watergleam Summon Gem.
Anyways once you've gotten all the treasure you can reach, head towards where Pinocchio ran to, the Throat. Take out all the enemies in Chamber 1 then head through the ground level door to Chamber 3. Grab the Mega-Ether then return to Chamber 1 and jump up on the ledge and head through the door to Chamber 2. Be careful not to fall, grab the nearby chest containing a cottage, then head into the next area. While you're here, use one of the barrels to reach the chest containing a set of dalmations. Now go to the other door that leads back to Chamber 2 and while ensuring you don't fall, make your way over to the door to Chamber 5. Once in Chamber 5 make your way over to the door that leads to Chamber 6. Take the mid-stair door back to Chamber 5 then head through the door that leads to Chamber 4. After the scene save and head through the door to a boss.
Parasite Cage: Hp: 450 Exp: 500 Strategy: With Riku to help this fight goes by rather quickly. Move in for the attack when the cage seems a little less tempermental, and beware of it's tentacles when you do. Or you can stay back and blast it with Fira and keep restoring your MP until it falls. Either way will bring this boss to a crashing defeat easily enough.
After the fight drop into the hole and you'll be back at Gepetto's ship. Talk to Gepetto then open the chest near the fish to obtain the High-Jump ability which allows you to jump higher then naturally possible. Now that the water has lowered and you can jump higher, raid this area for the treasure you couldn't get before. Such as the dalmation chest thats on the wall to the left. Anyway make your way to the door above the one that leads to Chamber 1. Make your way up the platforms and into the next area and you'll face a boss.
Parasite Cage: Hp: 900 Exp: 1,000 Strategy: This fight is similar to your previous fight with the Cage but it has taught itself a new attack. It can now exhale poisonous gas which will keep damaging you for a couple seconds after it hits. If you want you can attack head on but I suggest sniping the Cage from one ofthe platforms with Fira spells. Heal Donald and Goofy when they need it and when the Cage sags as if it was tired run in for a series of aerial combos and inflict as much damage as possible. Repeast as neccessary until the Cage falls.
After that battle, you'll obtain the Stop spell. Now that your work here is done, exit to your Gummi Ship using the save point. Now lets head to Traverse Town for a moment to re-stock on items. While you're there, check out Gepetto's place. Talk to him and then go look at the chest in the corner that contains the wishing star keychain. Leave and head to Merlin's house. Seeing as how you have all of the level 1 spells he'll give you the Spellbinder keychain. After speaking with Merlin, go talk to the Fairy God Mother to change that Watergleam into the Dumbo summon.
Now that you're done with that, head back to monstro and then to the "mystery" world we were going to before we we swallowed up.
|
Atlantica |
Items: Mythril Shard X5, Mega-Ether X5, Cottage X3, Elixir X3, Mega-Potion X2, Mythril X3, Torn Page, Crystal Trident, Orichalcum, Ansem's Report 3
Watch the scene here. Your pal Donald will use his magic to turn you all into aquatic-like creatures. You get turned into a mermaid (or whatever you'd like to call it), Donald gets turned into a deformed squid, and Goofy becomes a turtoise. Anyways when you reach Atlantica you'll encounter Ariel and Flounder. You'll fight off some Heartless in your new underwater bodies. Then be taught how to control them properly. Its a little rouhg at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Anyways the nearby shell holds a save point. Hit it to open it and save. I suggest putting Ariel in your team, as she is the most experience underwater fighter you have.
Now follow the Tridents painted on the walls to make your way to Triton's castle. Head through the next area, the Undersea Valley, fighting and casting the spells that match the color of the shells to open them. Follow the Tridents down into a trench then into the next area. Make your way through this area, the Calm Depths, and again follow the Tridents. In the Undersea Cave area you can either go straight up or fight, I say just fight for the EXP. This is the Undersea Gorge, anyways head through the hole the Tridents point to and you'll be in the area leading up to Triton's Castle. Scan the bottom sides for treasure. Enter the castle to appear before Triton's throne. After a scene, drop down to the shell below and hit it to reveal a save point.
Now head back to the Undersea Gorge and clear out the enemies, ride the dolphin a bit then head to the side of the gorge with a rock blocking what looks like a cave, push it aside to reveal Ariel's Grotto. Inside open all of the chests. After doins so, go ahead and leave the Grotto. Head to the Undersea Valley and you should encounter a Dolphin in this area. Clear out the enemies then ride the dolphin until you reach the sunken ship. Raid this area for treasure then enter the large ship. Search it until you find the Crystal Trident. Leave the ship and if you want the EXP take out the Shark, it has high HP so be careful. After that look for the broken off front end of the ship to the left of the boulder with the symbol on it. You'll see something behind, but Sora won't say much. Now head to the left and enter the hole leading to the Undersea Gorge. When you get there, hit the glowing pedestal to unleash a geyser. This will shoot you up to the Cave. Now head back to Ariel's Grotto and place the Crystal Trident into the indent in the wall. After a nice little scene head to Triton's Throne.
After the scenes here and once you save head back to the Sunken Ship, enter the area near a ship that Sora gets the ? at. Sebastian will open it for you and you're now in the Den of Tides. When you reach a fork in the road take the right path to reach a save point and a Mega-Ether. Prepare at here for the upcoming boss battle, equip Thunder, Fire and Blizzard on your spell shortcuts and have plenty of ethers. Now head back to the fork and take the left path to the boss fight.
Ursula: Hp: Ursula: 450 Eels: 60 Exp: Ursula: 1,000 Eels: 150 Strategy: If you don't know what you're doing this fight is horrendously difficult, if you do...it's incredibly simple. Ursula's weakness is connected to the color of her cauldron. The color of her cauldron corresponds with her weakness. If it is red use a Fire spell, if blue use a Blizzard spell and if yellow use a Lightning spell. If you do manage to hit the cauldron properly (You have to be high up and far enough away) Ursula will be damaged and both her and the Eelswill be knocked out, have your entire party go all out on her at this moment. Before she wakes up you can beat her down to less then half her full health. Repeat this until he is down for the count, oh and have the other two members of your party keep the Eels away from you while you concentrate on Ursula's cauldron. If you are running low on MP and you don't want to waste an ether beat on Flotsam and Jetsam for some MP balls.
After the battle you acquire the shared ability Mermaid Kick. Now, from the sunken ship area, head into the Calm Depths. Using Mermaid Kick (equip it) head across the hall swimming against the currents to the hole on the other side. Now put Aero in your magic shortcut and head into the "???" area for another boss.
Queen Ursula: Hp: 900 Exp: 1,500 Strategy: Using the power of the Triton Ursula grows to gargantuan proportions. To survive have Aero and Cure on your magic shortcuts. You should have Aero cast on you at all times, and if you don't be ready to cure quite often. When Ursula starts to inhale start Mermaid kicking, this attack can do some massive damage if she gets a chance to bite you. Ddodge her energy bubble attack and if she says something and raises the Triton..RUN! She is about to summon a field of downward energy blasts that can hit up to three times and can finish you even if you do have Aero cast on you. To defeat Ursula attack the side or back of her head and when she prepares to attack run quickly and far away with the Mermaid kick. If you are careful this fight will ake a while but you'll win.
For winning the battle, Thunder is upgraded to Thundara and you get Ansem's Report 3. Sora will then seal the Keyhole in Ariel's Grotto. You then receive the Crabclaw keychain.
Head on back to Traverse Town if you need to re-stock on items. If not, go ahead and head toward the 6 star battle area.

Halloween Town |
Items: Torn Page, Dalmatians 40-42 and 67-69, Elixir, Forget-Me-Not, Jack-in-the-Box, Dispel-G X3, Defense Up, Ether X2, Mega-Ether, Mythril Shard, Ansem's Report 7
This is my favorite world in the game, cool costumes and cool characters. Save then head through the gates to enter Guillotine Square. You won't have to worry about the Heartless as they are all incapable of fighting at this point in time. Head to the Guillotine to see a scene and then head left to Doc. Finkelstein's lab. You'll see a scene and Jack Skellington will join your party. Raid the room for treasure then leave and head out into Guillotine Square. The Heartless are now active so be prepared for combat. Jack is an awesome fighter so have him on your team. At the gate to the right of the lab, is Jack's house. Look under the stairs for a chest containing dalmations. A couple of gates over is the Graveyard enter it then clear out the Heartless in the area, talk to Sally to get what you need then head back to the Doc's lab. After another scene head back to the Graveyard, clear out the Heartless then take the casket at the back to the next area. Play the Mayor's little mini-game to get your next item. Take it back to the Doc and watch the scene that unfolds.
Head back to the Graveyard and head to the next area, on the other side of the Pumpkin is the path to the next area, take it. You are now in the Moonlit Hill area. Clear out the Heartless then activate the small gravemarker to head to the next area. Ignore the enemies and cross the bridge, grabbing the chests containing dalmations and a defense up. Now in the next area keep moving until you reach a set of doors. Take out the Heartless in front of them then enter the door. Activate the Red Trinity if you wish then hit the metal platform with a Fire spell. Jump on it to be raised to the next area. Now make your way to the very top of the mansion and defeat the boss there.
Lock, Shock & Barrel: Hp: Lock: 150 Shock: 120 Barrel: 180 Exp: Lock: 80 (Becomes 8 if you defeat her before the other two) Shock: 120 (Becomes 12 if you defeat him before the other two) Barrel: 240 (Becomes 24 if you defeat him before the other two) Strategy: Not much to it, you should be more then strong enough to easily crush these three. Keep your HPs up and this fight will be so easy it'll hurt.
Save and switch out Jack so you can go back an activate that Trinity if you didn't. If you don't do it now, you won't get another chance. Now hit the lever. Head down to the area with the large blue cages. Jump down to the area below. Equip Donald and Goofy with some restorative items. Then make your way to the nearby door and enter it to face a boss.
Oogie Boogie: Hp: 450 Exp: 2,500 Strategy: Welcome to the Casino, roulette anyone? This fight takes place with Oogy acting like the big sack of cowardly bugs that he is. Oogy will toss dice down onto your platform that will either explode or choose what kind of trap will attack you. The dice will either summon a set of three sickles that spin around the roulette wheel, summon Heartless or have circular saws attack. Keep your lock on Oogie, unless you're fighting Heartless, and when the buttons in each section of the wheel glow step on one to raise the platform to face Oogie. Also you can strike the dice in hopes of making it land the way you want it to. And the beating begins, this will take a great deal of his life off, you'll be knocked down after you beat him around for a bit. Repeat until he falls. To ensure your safety stay hugged against the grate when you are dropped back down as to avoid the guns.
For beating him you'll obtain a Holy Circlet and Ansem's Report 7. After the boss is over you'll face another boss
Oogie Boogie the Manor: Hp: 90 (per globe of darkness) Exp: 2,500 (combined total from the globes) Strategy: Not much I can say about this, make your way along Oogie and slag all seven of the purplish black globes of darkness. Avoid enemies and keep your HPs up. Thats about it.
This world is done. Seal the Keyhole, obtain the Gravity magic upgrade then shove off to the next world.
|
Neverland |
Items: Dispel-G X2, Dalmatians 43-45, 82-84, and 88-90, Ansem's Report 9, Navi-G Piece, Shell-G
Now we're in Neverland. On your way, Captain Hook will capture and put you in cell with Peter Pan. Once you get out put him in your party to find out whether you like him or not. Fight your way through this room then head up the ladder and through the door on the northern wall. Finish off the Heartless here then jump through the hole in the ceiling grating in the upper left corner of the room and you'll be in a room with a save point and a Green Trinity. Save then activate the Green Trinity. You'll face a boss.
Anti-Sora: Hp: 750 Exp: 2,000 Strategy: Ok this is a difficult fight, you're in a confined space and this enemy fights like Sora. Anyway cast Aero and keep your HPs up, once you've beaten Anti-Sora down to a Yellow HP bar is where it gets to be harder. At this time it will start to split into 3, attack one and if it doesn't appear it's the real thing, the reason it's annoying is if you miss it will turn into a shadow and pop up behind you and beat the crap out of you. This part of the fight is exceptionally annoying, keep Aero on at all times and your HPs up with plenty of Curs and potions. If you can do this then you should be able to win the fight.
For beating him you obtain a Raven's Claw. Open the chest on the bed to rescue some dalmations. Now exit to the deck. After a scene you'll get a spell upgrade and the ability to fly. Now you get fight some new enemies and then another boss. Make him pay for locking you up.
Captain Hook: Hp: 900 Exp: 3,400 Strategy: Hook is on one hand easy and on the other difficult. Make sure that you aren't flying, keep your feet firmly planted on the deck...unless jumping to dodge one of Hook's attacks. This fight is easy, on land and hard in the air so keep to the ground. Just have your entire party focus on him, keep Donald out of the fight as to avoid lighting Hook on fire, it hurts you as well if he touches you. Just beat him, down in Key to sword combat and hel fall quick enough.
For beating him you obtain the ability Ars Arcanum and Ansem's Report 9. After the cutscene you'll be in England next to Big Ben. Fly upward to find a save point. Now drop back down and look around for a chest containg more dalmations. Go talk to Wendy to find that one of the clocks is off. Find the clock face that doesn't say mid-night and strike the minute hand until it does. Doing so will reveal the keyhole for Neverland.
Now you get the Tinker Bell summon, the shared ability Glide, and the Fairy Harp keychain. Use the save point to head back to the Gummi ship and make your way back to Traverse Town.
|
100 Acre Wood |
This world is located in the book that you brought to Merlin waaaaay back in Traverse Town. Throughout the game you should have found a couple Torn pages, if you don't have all of them the list is as follows.
World: |
Area: |
Agrabah: |
Cave of Wonders, Dark Cave |
Monstro: |
Chamber 6 |
Atlantica: |
Ariel's Grotto |
Halloween Town: |
Research Lab |
Traverse Town: |
Rescue 51 Dalmations |
Anyways when you start 100 Acre Woods you'll meet Pooh in a meadow. He'll run away and after raiding the log he was sitting on for treasure head for his Treehouse. Go into his house to meet him, raid it for treasure then leave and talk to Owl. Leave this area and use a Torn Page to open the next area. You'll meet Piglet, chase him around to get him to come out from hiding. You'll play a mini-game where you have to keep the bees from popping Pooh's balloon. Just beat them away until he reaches the top hole, it's not as easy as it sounds so target the bees when they show up. After that area is done leave and the page will turn into the Naturespark, the Bambi Summon Gem.
The next Torn Page reveals Rabbit's house. Yank the cabbages and pumpkins out of the ground for items then go behind Rabbit's house and talk to Pooh and Piglet. Then enter the house and talk with Rabbit. Pooh will want some honey so knock the blue pot down from the rafters. After this examine it then leave the house and try to leave the area, then Tigger will show up. You'll play a simple mini-game and once that is over this area is complete. Leave the area and the page will turn into a Mythril Shard.
The next Torn Page is the bridge, from here you'll see Eeyore stuck in the water, jump in and save him. Follow Owl's instructions and play the Mini-game.
The next Torn Page is to the Clearing area, where you'll play a couple of mini-games then you'll help Owl find some Rare nuts. The Nuts are hidden rather poorly and most of them are in the trees, just take every route up into the trees that there is and you'll get them all. Take them one at a time to Owl to get rewards.
In the final area you'll be in a muddy path. Walk around the center area and you'll find Eeyore hidden in a small hole disguised by branches. Now you'll have to bring the others to this hole. Use the Lock-on to bring Pooh with you and then go find Roo who is hopping on a large tree root. Talk to him and he'll head to where Eeyore is. Rabbit is hiding in an area with quite a few holes, bring Pooh over and talk to him and he'll head back to where you sent Roo. Jump onto the air rising from the well and hop onto the log that Tigger is on, talk to him and he'll head for the meeting point. Next to get Owl to jump onto the air from the well and rise up and make your way up to the ledge, Owl is in the bushes. At this time Pooh should be down where the well is, use your Fire spell to remove the cobwebs from inside the log then move to the blue flowers and target Pooh. He'll climb up and lead Pooh into the log, at the other side lead him to the Blue Flowers and he'll float up to a level with a tree with a hole in it. Jump up after him then stand next to the tree and have Pooh bring Piglet out. With that done 100 Acre Woods is complete, lock it and you're done.

Hollow Bastion |
Items: Dalmatians 91-99, Dispel-G X4, Megalixir X3, Mythril X3, Tornado-G X3, Esuna-G, Flare-G, Float-G X3, Power Up, Khama vol. 8, Theon vol. 6, Azal vol. 3, Mava vol. 6, Salegg vol. 6, Nahara vol. 5, Mava vol. 3, Hafet vol. 4, Elixir, Mega-Potion X2, AP Up, Ultima-G, Emblem Piece X4, Orichalcum X3, Mega-Ether, Cottage X3, Holy-G, Ansem's Report 5, Fireglow
Before you start Hollow Bastion I suggest you go complete all three of the tourneys for levels, a useful Keychain (the Olympus) and for the Yellow Trinity with which you can seal the Olympus Keyhole. After you do that head back to Traverse Town for equipment and items you may need.
Anyways onto Hollow Bastion. This is the base of operations for Maleficent and there are quite a few boss battles. Anyways you'll start in the Rising Falls area. Before you begin jumping from stone to stone, jump down into the water, or rather onto it seeing as how you can walk on it. Go behind the rwo of rocks and get the chests containing dalmations. Now get back on the rock and begin to make your way up until you encounter a scene. During the scene you'll lose the Keyblade, Donald and Goofy. Afterwads, you get that wooden sword you had in the begining of the game. You will also gain a teammate, The Beast. The Beast is pretty powerful and also a smart warrior, so lets continue onward.
Beware of the Heartless as you won't be able to hurt them with the wooden sword. Continue heading upwards until you reach the castle itself. From here, activate the crystal shimmering with blue energy. This will take you to the next area you have to go to. You'll encounter some Heartless along the way, so stay back and support Beast with magic and items since you can't do any real damage. Jump into the bubble to be brought to the next area, you can take the higher one for treasure, and have Beast smash the gate down. The next area is a room full of gates. Hit switches to move until you reach a bubble, then jump into it. Have Beast handle the Heartless in this area and hit the switch then make your way back to the main area.
The large doors in the area you first teleported down here from should now be open, head for them and stock up on items for a boss battle. Once you are in the Entrance Hall a scene ensues and you get Donald, Goofy and the Keyblade back. You'll face Riku and after that you obtain the White Trinity ability.
Riku: Hp: 500 Exp: 2,000 Strategy: This fight is pathetic, for a battle you could see coming from like...the start of the game it sure doesn't live up to it's hype. Keep Aero cast and your HPs up and just keep pounding on Riku to finish him off, he's got a low HP rate and he's not even all that strong.
You need to collect 4 pieces of a crest to get to the next area. There is a door to the library area in this room so head to it. In the Library you must find all the books that are in the wrong places and return them to the proper shelves. From where you start, head around the corner to pick up the red book thats on the ground. The book is Khama Vol. 8. To the right is a rwo of red books witha space in it. Place the book there and open there to open a passage. The pillar on your left has a hole in it. Examine it until the chest inside faces you so that you can open it. Inside it is an Elixir. Head up the stairs and repeat that process with the other 2 pillars. They contain a Mythril and a Mega-Potion.
Next to the save point it a desk with the book Theon vol. 6 on it. And the green trinity near the save point gets you Azal vol. 3. Past the pillar where you got the Mega-Potion is a row of orange books with one green one. Take the green book, Mava vol. 6, and insert Theon. The nearby door will now be unlocked, but before going through it, jump on top of the bookcases and grab the chest that contains a Dispel-G. Follwo the book case arouns the corner to find another pillar, which contains an AP Up.
Once that is done make your way to the second floor door and light all the candles in this area using the Fira spell. Once lighting all the candles, head over to the stone with the lighting bolt on it, and cast Thundara on it to lower the platforms that lead the the central area. Hop on them to get an Emblem Piece. Then use the Red Trinity where the mark is you'll get an Emblem piece. Smash all the vases around the statues to start a fountain which will unveil another Emblem Piece. Finally, push one of the statues over the edge. It'll fall and reveal the Emblem Piece. The Statue should be opposite the door.
Collect the pieces, heal and then place them in the door and you'll see a scene. Head through the Lift Stop to the outside, clear out all the Heartless then activate the Orange Crystal then the Blue one. Ride the trolley to the next area and fight your way up to the Great Crest area. Activate the glowing crystal nearby to raise one half of the Great Crest, now jump up it and make your way to the Chapel. Heal and prepare for a boss.
Maleficent: Hp: 900 Exp: 6,000 Strategy: Another fight with an enemy that the game makes out to be incredibly powerful...and isn't. Maleficent summons powerful magic and enemies while floating around on a stone platform. There are two ways to lower the platform 1) Beat it senseless (I know rocks have no senses it's...personification) or 2) Cast a gravity spell on it. Gravity spells waste MP so just beat it down and jump on it and either use normal attacks or use the all powerful (or at least at this point in time it is) Ars Arcanum, this will deplete her life incredibly quickly. Avoid her giant Meteor attack and when you can't reach her or the platform is moving help your team defeat the Heartless she summons. She should fall rather quickly.
After the battle Donald receives teh Cheer Ability and you get Ansem's Report 5. Then save, for yet another boss.
Dragon-Maleficent: Hp: 1,200 Exp: 6,000 Strategy: This is probably the hardest of the Hollow Bastion bosses. The only sensible way I can come up with of beating this boss is to stay at the edges of the arena and when the fire disappears and she stops attacking to run forward and beat away at her for a bit then when she starts to prepare to attack again to run away. Thats about it, keep Aero cast and your HPs up and you should be able to defeat her quickly enough.
Take care of her again and you'll obtain the Fireglow. An new pathway opens up beyond the Save point. Save and head down it. Save again then continue to the next boss, Riku.
Ansem-Riku: Hp: 900 Exp: 8,500 Strategy: This is like a more difficult one on one battle with the first Riku...only it's hard...waaay harder. Have the Olympia keychain equipped to maximize the damage. Have Aero on at all times and cure at the very momentyou need to. Watch out for Riku's Dark-Raid attack, it's his version of the Strike Raid, you can hit the weapon back at him but I don't suggest it. When Riku starts to gather energy he is about to unleash his most powerful attack,in which he goes flying all over the arena attacking, keep to the air and glide to get out of it's way. If you can stun Riku use Ars Arcanum to unleash a lot of damage but only use it if you can. Keep the pounding and retreating to recover going and he should fall.
After taking care of him, you obtain the Ragnarok ability. After seeing a few touching scenes, you'll be in a new "form." Head through the door into the Lift Shop. Just continue falling off ledges until you're back at the Entrance Hall, and watch another pretty nice scene... *sniff*
You'll now be in Traverse Town. Go talk to Cid behind the Accessory shop and he'll send you to the Secret Waterway. Examine the Mural at the back to recieve a N-Gummi and talk to Kairi to get the Oathkeeper Keychain. Now head to Merlin's Study and talk to the Fairy Godmother to get a new Summon. Now go back and talk to Cid and he'll install the Gummi to let you get back to Hollow Bastion, so lets do so.
Now head to the area that you fought Riku in the second time. Raid it for treasures (theres a nice Keychan here called the Oblivion) and then head through the Heart gate to face the last boss of Hollow Bastion.
Behemoth: Hp: 1,350 Exp: 16,000 Strategy: At the start of the battle o seal the Keyhole. After that talk to Aerith in the Library to get the rest of the Ansem reports and the final Cure upgrade. Belle will also give you the Divine Rose Keychain. Now lets head back to Traverse Town.
Stock up on items and equipment here. And if you've yet to collect all the dalmatians, head over to the Dalmations section of the site for their locations. You might wanna try and complete all of the Tournaments at the Coliseum for levels and abilities. When you're ready, head to The End of the World.
|
The End of the World |
Items: Power Up X2, Defense Up X2, Megalixir X5, Haste2-G, Ultima-G, Esuna-G, Haste-G, Thundara-G, AP Up
Make your way through this area dealing with the Heartless and picking up the treasure you get from the chests and from defeating the Heartless. The Gale you obtain from the Invisibles are required for Sora's Ultima Weapon. Once you're through in the area, make your way by gliding through the new area until you reach what looks like a glowing pot. Dive in and go through this area world hole by world hole until you reach 100 Acre Woods with it's save point. Save and head to the next world hole to face a boss.
Chernabog: Hp: 1,500 Exp: 15,000 Strategy: This boss is very similar to Ursula. Have Aero on at all times and cure at the exact moment that you need to. When Chernie rears his head back he is about to use Fire Breath...get out of the way, preferrably behindhis head. When he looks like he's powering up like a character from an anime he's about to unleash his Fire wave attack much like Ursula's energy field. GET OUT OF THE WAY! It can kill you in a matter of two or three hits. WhenChernie holds out his hands he is about to use his following energy, an attack that follow Sora and fires thin beams at him, fly around dodging them until it stops. Attack the sides and back of his head and beat away at him untilhe falls under your attacks. For beating him, you obtain the Superglide shared ability.
Now go down through these areas until you face a room with a Behemoth in it. You'll have to fight waves of Heartless until the door opens. You are now at the Final Rest. Before you enter, I suggest you get your levels up to the 50's. Getting your levels to 60+ makes the final battles very easy. I also suggest you go and collect items so that you can Synthesize Sora's Ultima Weapon. And you might want to complete all forms of the Hades Cup (Set Time Limit and Sora by himself) in order to get Donald and Goofy's ultimate weapons. When you think you're ready, head back to the Final Rest and examine the door twice.
You'll now be on the Destiny Islands. Head to where the secret place is to trigger a scene. Afterwards, head over toward Riku and defeat the boss.
Ansem: Hp: 1,500 Exp: 10,000 Strategy: This fight is easy yet tedious. Attack Ansem head on with your full party, have Aero on at all times and keep your HPs up. When he shouts "Come Guardian" he is summoning his Heartless to protect him, at this time you cannot attack him unless you are behind him when he summons the Guardian. When the two seperate becareful, the "Freeze" command will replace your attack command. Don't attack until your attack command is back. If you do the Guardianwill grab you and leave you open to attacks. Just be careful during this time and keep the pummelling and the healing/defending with Aero going and you'll easily win this fight.
Re-stock your items if you need to and jump into the purple looking area. You'll face an old boss again on your own.
Darkside: Hp: 900 Exp: 8,000 Strategy: He's bigger, he's stronger and he's just as easy as before. Just fight him as I instruced you to before and he'll fall easily.
Beat him and you'll face Ansem again.
Ansem: Hp: 1,200 Exp: 20,000 Strategy: This fight is very similar to the first fight with Ansem only now Sora is alone. Fight the same way but be wary of Ansem's new attacks. He'll put up an energy barrier and charge around the arena, jump or Super glide out ofthe way, and jump to dodge his energy waves, when he talks about his "True power" he'll seperate from his Guardian and the Guardian will do an attack similar to one of Cerberus'. The Guardian will follow you under the ground and burst out frombeneath you. Keep the fight going and dodge as many of his attacks as and heal when neccessary to win this battle.
Get rid of him, and you'll be in a new area ready to face the final boss. You'll have to take it on part by part and enter darkness portals.
The World of Darkness: Hp: Ansem: 1,500 Core: 30 Small armaments: 120 Large armaments: 240 Core II: 30 Head: 1,200 Core III: 30 Ghost Core: 300 Ansem II: 1,500 Exp: Ansem: 20,000 Core: 0 Small armaments: 90 Large armanents: 240 Core II: 0 Head: 3,000 Core III: 0 Ghost Core: 0 Ansem 2: 0 Strategy: This fight is long and very, very easy. Anyways you still don't have your team so have Aero cast at all times and heal when neccessary. Your first opponent is Ansem, who is easier then ever. He seems to lack the intelligence to attack behind himself so go behind him and start beating away until the energy beams start firing at you, at this time dodge them then return to beating away at Ansem's back. One you've defeated him head to the back glowing thing and enter it.Clear out all the shadows and destroy the core. Anyways once thats done go about destroying all the armaments on the sides leading up to the head of the ship and slag them. Again head to the black glowing thing and head through it to retrieve Goofy.Destroy all the Darkballs and then the core to finish this area. Next head down to the large pink head at the front of the ship, have Goofy attack it and avoid it's attacks. Once you kill it enter the mouth and destroy the Invisibles with the helpof the newly recovered Donald. After this head to the Ghost like Core at the center of the ship, slag it and then face Ansem once more and the game is over.
After he's been defeated, sit back and watch the ending. If you locked all Keyholes, returned all the dalmations, and completed the Hades Cup, you'll get a nice "secret" if you don't turn the system off during the credits
