The Legend of Zelda 2: Link no Bouken
เดอะเลเจนด์ ออฟ เซลดา 2
(as "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link")
Platform:
Maze Island Palace
Once you cross to the other side, there is a town called Nabooru straight ahead. In the second section, a lady in red will come out of a house and say that she is thirsty. Check the fountain to the left of her and go back. She will let you see the Wise Man who will teach Link the Fire spell (lets you shoot fireballs from your sword), which is need to kill the Spiders you face here.
There are 3 P-bags in this area. One in the forest to the west of town, one in the cave south of town, and one past the boulder to the southeast of town. Make sure that you have the Fire spell before getting them.
Once you have the P-bags, go to the cave north of the town. Pass through it and head northwest to the town of Darunia. In the first house in the second section is a knight who will teach Link the Upward Thrust. To get into the house, you must cast Jump and go house-jumping in order reach the chiminey to enter the house. There's also an old woman who asks Link to rescue a kidnapped child on the island.
Exit town and head east to the bridge to Maze Island. Hug the bottom all the way to the right and go up. Fall down the hole (to the right of the pic). Kill the Lizardman and rescure the child. Head back to Darunia and to the old lady. She will let Link see the Wise Man, who will teach Link the Reflect Spell (when used, Link's shield will reflect magic beams).
Head back to Maze Island. On the left side (in front of Link in the pic) there is a Magic Container. Weave your way around to the Maze Island Palace (check the map I made to find the best possible route). You should have Life at 7 and Magic/Attack at 6 by now.
Again like last time, if you stab the statue, you will either get a Red Jar or awaken a Red Ironknuckle. Go down the elevator and take a right. Go down the next elevator and take the first right you come to. Jump across the pit and continue right, past the lava pool to the key.
Go back left and jump down the pit. Take the path going right (if you caught a ledge) and go right. Kill the Stalfos Knights and the Ironknuckle. Unlock the door and grab the Boots. Go back and jump down the hole again. Go right and grab the key past the lava pool.
Head back left. Ignore the elevator for now and just go left. Grab the key at the end of the room and head back to the elevator. Go up it all the way to the top. Head left from there. Unlock the door and continue left.
Make sure to have both the Upward Thrust skill and enough MP for the Jump spell. Stab the stones and grab the key. Unlock the door and ignore the elevator for now. Go left and grab the key and the P-bag. Head back right and down the elevator.
Go right first. Cross the lava pit and get the key. If you stab the statue you might get a Red Jar. Go left now. Unlock the door and cross the lava pit. Go down the elevator. Head right from there two more screens (try to get within 300 exp of going up a level).
When you reach the boss room, cast Reflect and Shield on yourself. When you meet Carock, stand in a corner and kneel down. All the stuff he shoots at you will be reflected at him, which is the only way to harm him. Let Carock just keep up his attack and just sit there patiently and kneel down. He might get close enough to damage you, but he'll die before he does that enough to seriously threaten you. Grab the key and put the crystal back in the statue. |
