Magic shield.
The Magic shield spell can be really useful. At the beginning of every mission, use the first turn to cast the Magic shield on 5 units and the second turn to cast the spell on the 5 reminder units.
You'll gain an effective protection against special techniques and El/Sonia will end up with a very high level and of course, MP.
