The Last Guardian is a 2016 action-adventure game developed by Japan Studio and GenDesign and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. The game centers around a young boy who awakens in a strange and mystical land, and finds himself trapped in a massive ruined castle. He soon encounters a giant, half-bird, half-mammal creature named Trico, who is also trapped. The boy and Trico form a deep bond, and must work together to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and escape the castle.
