The Pass Loop is used to go into the secret Mural Room hidden beyond the wall in the Cave.

How to Obtain

The Cave

Visit the Cave on Zazan Beach on or after Y1 Spring 15 to trigger Cave event cutscene Ch. 1 - Cave Walls where Noby and friends notice something odd about the back of the cave wall.
With Harmon, Cooper, and Jemma at 2 Hearts, visit Zazan Beach to trigger Gadgets event cutscene Ch. 3 - Hidden Base. Noby will notice that Cooper has the Pass Loop.

The Marlin

Cooper will give you the Pass Loop if you get into their inner circle. But first, you will have to help them befriend Sandy, who doesn't like them playing on the beach. For this, you will have to catch a Marlin. The Marlin can be caught at Zazan Beach and Zazan Cape in Summer between 6 AM - Noon. Additionally, you need at least a Copper Rod to catch it.
Once you have caught a Marlin, you'll need to give it to Cooper (NOT Sandy) to trigger the next Gadgets event cutscene Ch. 4 - Secret Friend. Cooper will give you the Pass Loop. Yay!

Now that you've obtained the Pass Loop, head back to the Cave to trigger Cave event Ch. 2 - Mural Room. You'll gain access to - yep, the Mural Room! Here, you will begin a treasure hunt to find the missing Mural Lithographs.
