Kiefer is incredibly strong, and will help with many of the battles early in the game. He is the prince of the kingdom of Estard, on Estard island. He hates the idea of having to be a king someday, and being restricted to staying in the castle. Instead, he'd much rather go off on a fantastic adventure of his own, often without permission.
