Minna De Halloween Party

From October 2nd to November 1st, the Halloween Party event took place. This was similar to the Sunflower campaign where you have to collect items and exchange them at the Trade Shop for prizes. In this case, planting Pumpkin, Splendid Pumpkin, or Monster Pumpkin and harvesting the crops after 2 hours can earn you a Ghost Cookie. The cookies can then be traded for prizes:

Play with Cats Campaign

From September 16 to September 20, 2011, if players completed the special quests #20198 (collect 2 Tea Cups) and #20190 (collect 1 Can of Cat Food) then the special Milk Bowl and Yarn Ball items become available. The Milk Bowl is a normal item costing 100 G but the Yarn Balls are from the Trade Shop and requre 300 G, 30 Lumber, 1 Red Boot, and 1 Emerald. Then depending on the color you want, there are additional Trade Shop ingredients:

Sunflower Harvesting Festival

Between July 5, 2011 and August 2, 2011, players can purchase special seeds. Sunflower seeds are from the standard shop for 300 G and Splendid Sunflower seeds are from the Trade Shop for 1 Apple Pie, 1 Orange Juice, 1 Candy Apple, and 1 Blueberry Jam. Growing these flowers (2 hour growth rate) will randomly produce a Sunflower Seed collection item. Harvested Splendid Sunflowers have a higher chance of generating Sunflower Seeds than normal Sunflowers. Solar Sunflowers were added half-way through the festival for 10 Star Points each.

The seed collection item can then be traded for special, limited edition items from the Trade Shop.

Touhoku Earthquake - Red Cross

Proceeds earned for the purchase of a Heartful Board will be donated to the Japanese branch of the Red Cross for their earthquake relief efforts. The Heartful Board is available for purchase from March 23, 2011 until April 27, 2011.

White Day

Available for purchase from February 16, 2011 to March 23, 2011. White day is the matching holiday to Valentine's Day in Japan. In Harvest Moon terms, we know them as Winter Harmony Day (Valentines) and Spring Harmony Day (White). White Day is the festival where boys give chocolates to girls who gave them chocolates on Valentine's day.

Nakazawa Dairy and Marvelous have done promotional pieces together for past versions of Harvest Moon, so for the launch of the online version, players can buy special branded Nakazawa Dairy items. These items are for sale from November 29, 2010 to January 26, 2011. Because for a period of time the game didn't allow players to purchase Star Points, they become available again from February 2, 2011 to February 23, 2011.

Beta Tester Rewards
